Busy Paving Company is looking for Class A CDL Driver/Laborer with paving experience to join our team.
Job Description:
- Safely transport material to and from job sites
- Safely transport equipment to and from job sites
- Safely load equipment onto trailer and unload equipment from trailer
- Work with paving crew in all aspects of paving and masonry
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL License
- 5+ years of experience with a clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical card
- Able to pass Federal DOT pre-employment drug screen
- Able to maneuver the truck/trailer with control in a safe, effective manner controlling speed while looking for and avoiding hazards
- Able to secure loads with a tarp, chains, and straps
- Maintain and Inspect truck/equipment daily reporting any issues to mechanic or supervisor
- Dependable and able to arrive at work on time
- Able to communicate with others, understand and follow instruction both written and verbal
- Able to work independently and as a team member
- Able to lift, carry, push, pull 60+ pounds
- Able to stand, sit, stoop and bend, kneel for several hours per day
- Willing to follow all safety procedures
- Willing to work overtime
- Willing to work in all weather conditions'
